We had an excellent time at the zoo! After meeting up at the zoo, we had some good opportunities to wander around the zoo grounds, and check out some of the little furry critters housed within it. Some of the people who work at the zoo even brought some of the animals out to show us!
Then, we returned back to the field where the movie was playing, and started watching it at 9. It couldn't have been a more perfect evening for watching a movie outside: warm, clear, even some stars shining down on us from the sky. Leaving the zoo in the dark was an interesting experience - there's nothing quite like walking by darkened cages housing wild animals!
Special thanks to Tanya Laughren from 630 CHED, who gave us two really awesome prize packages that I awarded out. I awarded them based on who could answer first a couple of the trivia questions about the zoo. Congratulations to the two winners!
