As part of the 50th birthday celebrations of the Edmonton Valley Zoo, the movie Madagascar will be shown on a giant movie screen in an open meadow at the zoo. While we're there watching a movie about zoo animals, we might also get a chance to visit their furry cousins! You will also have a chance to win a prize pack from the Valley Zoo.

Visitors are also encouraged to bring a blue bag of bottles or an old cell phone, in order to enter the 630 CHED Best Seats in the House contest. Money from these recyclable items will be given directly to the Edmonton Valley Zoo to maintain and care for the animals housed at the facility. All entries will qualify for a draw for two chairs and an area rug.
