Write Up:
Considering the lack of snow elsewhere in the Edmonton area, it seemed iffy for a while whether this event would be able to go ahead. Some of the side runs at Snow Valley remained closed, but for the most part we were able to get some reasonably good skiing/snowboarding in for a couple of hours. I lost track of most of the group on the hill - which was to be expected at a place like that - so didn't have a chance to ski with everyone. But hopefully everybody had a good time on what I'm sure was the first opportunity for most, if not all of us, to get out on the slopes for the season.
