Write Up:
We had a really good evening walk, heading from the Safeway on Whyte Ave. to the High Level Bridge, then hiking through the river valley to Hawrelak Park and back. I don't think we could have picked a better evening: warm, clear, and a beautiful full moon shining over the river. From what I hear, we clocked at about 11 km total distance traveled - which was definitely enough to make my legs stiff the next day. I'm still in "summer mode", so it didn't even occur to me to warn the group that we would need flashlights - but fortunately quite a few did.

Afterwards, a small number of us converged over at O'Byrne's, where we had a chance to hear some excellent Celtic music, and saw demonstrations of Irish dancing.
