HI Everyone, Thanks for joining me for a lovely walk through the trails of Whitemud Park. Everyone looked very comfortable on their snowshoes by the end of the walk. As more more snow falls, I will be running more events, but not until after Christmas. I have an event Dec. 28th, however, it is 16 km, so unless you have done some minimum 8-10 km hikes, I don't recommend this one. Enjoy the weather and exploring the many spaces within Edmonton to enjoy Snowshoeing. Good spots locally include Terwilliger Park, local Golf Course, Strathcona wilderness centre, located 20 minutes east of Sherwood Park, and there are many packed trails throughout the river valley. Gold Bar is a hidden gem, but if you go there please be respectful of the the X-country ski tracks and do not walk on them. Google the City of Edmonton website to view maps city wide. Happy Holidays to everyone, and I hope to see you all out in the New Year. Lynn Ferguson
