Snowshoe fun everyone. Beginners ARE ENCOURAGED to come out and try this easy and relaxing sport. If you can walk, you can snowshoe.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event that there is not enough snow, we will proceed anyway with a hike in the area.

***If you don't own snowshoes, I am able to obtain several pairs, so folks can try out the sport without having to rent them. I will make them available on a first come first serve basis. Please add your request in the notes section including if you require Small (under 150 lbs) Med (up to 200 lbs) or Large (up to 250 lbs) so I can ensure the right size. Or you can also rent a pair at either MEC or Totem Outfitters.

There are trails winding through the entire park. Some trails are packed and others will hopefully have lots of fluffy wonderful snow. Parts of the Snowshoe may require some elevation changes.

To find me, I will have on a Yellow Eoc hat and by my blue KIA Sportage. If the weather changes and trails are not suitable for snowshoeing, we will go ahead with a hike in the area. If it is really cold we can meet in the Alfred Savage centre located in the park. Please let the coordinator know if you are unable to attend after the cut off date
