We had a cloudy and slightly chilly weekend for camping but that didn't stop us from having a good time. Quite a bit of time was spent around the campfire and Sara even brought out her guitar to play a few songs. And Angela and Karen introduced a few people to s'mores. The group split up on Saturday for different hikes around the eskar. It was an easy trail with rolling hills and interpretive signs. During the hike, Colin was a great wealth of knowledge when it came to berries and had us tasting them. After the hike, a few people braved the cold water for a quick swim It was a great "discovery" weekend! Thanks to everyone for coming out despite the chilly weather. And thanks to "Ranger Bob" for giving us plenty to laugh about.
