Write Up:
Instead of the forecasted thundershowers, we ended up having a beautiful day for the World Partnership Walk on Sunday, June 5th. A total of 11 people were part of the Global Guardians team, including three EOCers and Narmin's nephews, who are future EOCers. :)

Our team raised a total of $2,170, with the EOC contingent raising the following:
Narmin $1,245
Sandy $255
Craig $155
Ethan $110
Nicky $100

A great time was had by all of us. We completed the five kilometre walk in under two hours going at a pace set by Narmin's five-year-old nephew, Nicky.

Following the Walk, we enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch and took a quick walk through the Global Village, where we all entered to win a trip for two to East Africa. Keep your fingers crossed and maybe one of us will win!
