Sometimes the weather gods are kind, and sometimes not so much. Sometimes it pays to heed the forecast, and sometimes it's better to pay attention to your own eyes and instincts. They were calling for thunder showers from 4PM on, and escalating starting at 10PM, but aside from a very few drops right around 9:15 (as we were walking into the pub after the ride), there was NO RAIN. Brent and I waffled about cancelling the event because the forecasts were so adamant that we'd be rained out, but we weren't. And, as usual, it was a very lovely lovely river valley cycle. Thanks to all who came out, and welcome to the club, Tony and King (I was very impressed that King did the 20kms with his rear tire wobbling like that)! -- Rhonda Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album?
