Itinerary:
Come for a lovely cycle, approximately 20km total, through the Edmonton river valley trail system.

From the meeting place, we will head east on the paths exploring as we go (Brent and Rhonda are not especially familiar with the area beyond Rundle Park so we'll make it up as we go along). We'll go about 10km out before looping back. There will be at least one REALLY BIG hill along the route. We will be sticking to the paved paths and going slow, so any type of bicycle is fine.

After we ride, we may stop someplace for refreshments. Ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Required Items to Bring:
- Bike. Road, hybrid and mountain bikes are fine since we'll be going at a leisurely pace.
- Helmet (No exceptions)
- Water
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
- Repair kit
- First aid kit
- Camera
- Money for a snack
- A Joke

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Get on the south side of the river, find 50th St and head north. Just before you hit the river turn left into the parking lot. Look for the person wearing the yellow EOC Ball Cap.
Alternately you can leave your car on the north side of the river and ride down the steep switchback from Ada Boulevard & 52nd St and cross the river via the Capilano Foot Bridge. (This means that you will finish the evening by riding up that steep switchback) The parking lot is at the south end of the foot bridge.
