We had a pretty good day of late season skiing! We left Edmonton a little late at 6:30, and stopped at Peters' Drive In in Calgary for dinner before making the last leg out to Banff. We picked up some beers in town and headed to the Banff Alpine Centre where we drank and chatted for awhile before calling it a night.
We got up and had breakfast at the Safeway in town, and made it to the ski hill just short of 10:00 AM. The ski conditions were variable. It was snowing the entire day making for some poor visibility and high winds at times. On the flip side, there were no lines at the lifts and very few unpredictable skiers to navigate around on the hills. We skiied till closing andwent to the Grizzly Paw in Canmore for dinner and drinks before heading back to Edmonton for a late end at around 11:00 PM.
