Itinerary:
Finally! A hike you can bring your dog to! Terwillegar Park is a huge, designated off leash area, so come along for a hike (or a bound) around the park. Bring your furbaby or come solo, as you wish. The park works best for mid- to large-sized breeds, but if your small dog is not intimidated by lots of bigger dogs coming up for a greeting, then it should be no problem. Please bring only well socialized dogs - dogs on leash in an off leash area are not always the best idea.
Take the Terwillegar exit off Whitemud Dr, which puts you on Terwillegar Drive, heading south. Turn right on Rabbit Hill Rd. and continue to the end. Meet in grassy area on north side of parking lot. Shirley has a white husky cross and will be wearing a black baseball cap that says Canadian Helicopters.
