Itinerary:

Potluck - held east of the Shaw Conference Center (address to be given later) - we will be inside & no BBQ available - sorry! There is a microwave though.

Hike - we will park our cars at Forest Heights Park then start our walk from here. We will hike for about 1.5 hours & 6.5 km. (If it's raining, we won't go hiking instead, we'll play board games inside until 10:00pm then head over to watch the fireworks.)

Fireworks (they start at 11pm) - after our hike, we can get setup to watch the fireworks near the Forest Heights Park parking lot - there's an awesome viewpoint looking down into the river valley & the downtown. We will be able to view the fireworks from here just not the waterfall over the High Level Bridge.

Please note that I will supply paper plates, plastic cutlery, paper cups, & napkins as well as some dessert - sundaes w/several choices of toppings!

I will need help cleaning the room that we are renting for the potluck afterwards. Also there will be a small charge for this room - amount will be determined once the final #s come in (it will range between $3 to $5 per person).
