Itinerary:
This is a training/conditioning ride. Route subject to change depending on conditions and/or better ideas.

Approx 55km round trip.

Ride around Pigeon Lake. More details TBA. We will stop for two breaks along the route.

Required Items to Bring:
- Bike
- Helmet **NO EXCEPTIONS**
- Snacks and water
- Tools, Tube and Pump
- Clothing for all weather conditions

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Head south on Highway 2 for approximately 21km, then head west on Highway 39 toward Drayton Valley and Calmar for approximately 37km. At Calmar, turn left at the sign for Pigeon Lake and take Highway 778 for approximately 13km until you come to the Tempo/Fireworks station at the intersection of Highway 778 and Highway 616.

Carpool Cost: The event coordinator(s) will help you to arrange a centralized carpool if you require it, but it's not guaranteed. Please DO NOT pay your driver en route. Passengers will pay the coordinator, and he/she will distribute the money to the carpool drivers. SO PLEASE BRING CASH!!! Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $43.50 (calculated at total Km * $0.29, effective Sunday, May 5, 2024). This is based on $0.09/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divided by 9. This cost will be multiplied by the number of carpooled cars, and divided by the number of carpool participants.
