We will ski the trails at Goldbar park for an hour or so and then head to Boston Pizza for some drinks, food and conversation. For the ski, we will divide into two groups: one for beginner skiers and one for more experienced skiers (when you register, please indicate under "notes" which group you'd like to join). Goldbar park has many groomed ski trails of varying difficulty, and the trails are lit for night skiing.

If you don't have skis, one option for renting them is Mountain Equipment Co-op. The full ski package costs $15/day. You can reach MEC at 488-6614, just ask for the rental department. For more info, see their website.

Skis, boots and poles (and wax, if appropriate)

To get to Goldbar park, drive north on 50th street past 109A Avenue. Follow the cross-country ski sign and turn right. Go past the sewage treatment plant and the parking lot is on the left.
