Itinerary:
Snow Valley is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1961 and is located just off the Whitemud Freeway on 119 Street, at the south end of Whitemud Park. The cost for a lift pass for the evening is only is $10 + GST and if you need rental equipment this will be $10 + GST for alpine ski equipment, or $17 + GST for snowboard equipment. NOTE: These prices only go into effect RIGHT AT 7:00PM so if you buy it earlier they will try to make you pay the full afternoon price. We will meet at 6:45PM to check in with each other and to get in line for our passes.

You will be required to sign a Snow Valley waiver form on arrival.

We will meet inside the chalet at one of the tables (it is a small chalet, so it is difficult to get lost) - check out the volunteers section of the website to see what I look like. Depending on the weather I will be wearing either a blue or red parka. I will be keeping watch for people looking lost and confused coming through the front doors. Once everyone has checked in with me and we've done introductions, the group will be free to either start skiing or to go and get their rentals. If you'd like me to wait for you, please let me know during check in, as I am more than happy to introduce someone to the hill. Once the two hours of skiing is up, we should endeavor to meet back up at the Chalet before leaving. That way we can make plans to go and enjoy a hot chocolate somewhere together, and to regale each other with tales of skiing the pimple in the city.
