Itinerary:
Brisk Walk around the Lake and new trail explorer in nearby Griesbach Park *NOTE: We start walking clock-wise around the lake at 7:00 PM. So if you're late, you'll have to find us on the walk around the lake (try going counter clock-wise to meet up with us). Also, dogs must be on leash.

We will meet in front of the Castledowns Library in parking lot, walk around the lake a couple times to get in some good weekday night exercise, and work up an appetite for a few appetizers at the nearby Crown and Anchor Pub and the beginning of Oilers game.

Although largely artificial, Lake Beaumaris is the largest lake within the city limits of Edmonton. The trail around the lake offers great paved path for year round walking with lighting all the way around the lake. We will also take a detour and hike up Greisbach Hill in Greisbach Park for our scenic view of North Edmonton and Downtown in the distance.
