Intermediate Wednesday Hike: Twin Brooks/ McTaggert Wildlife Tunnel (10/26/2022)

Itinerary:
Meet at the parking lot next to the Twin Brooks Community Garden at 6:30 PM. Look for Mark with the blue cap.

We will do a walk through the community and end up on the gravel trail that borders the Twin Brooks community and overlooks the Whitemud Creek. We will continue on to a wildlife corridor trail/tunnel in the McTaggert Sanctuary South end, with a loop of Whitemud Creek.

The distance will be about 9 kms. and the terrain is forested with some steep hills.

Bring walking aids (hiking poles, etc) as desired as there could be slippery sections.

This event will be at an average intermediate pace compared to our brisk hikes (approximately 5 km/hr compared to 5.5 km/hr).

***We are open to having dogs on the hike, however they must be leashed***
