About this walk: ~11-11.5km, ~2-2.5 hours

For a change of scenery, I would like to hike along the path in St. Albert that follows alongside the Sturgeon River.

We will begin our hike at Lions Park which is located just west of downtown in St. Albert. We will head west along the Sturgeon River to Lois Hole Provincial Park, loop around the boardwalk before we head back east. We will then head on the north end of downtown to the Benoit footbridge, cross over then walk on the north side of the river, cross over the Children’s Bridge back to the parking lot.

**There could be icy sections on this paved trail so please bring your ice grips with.

**RE: COVID-19 Protocols:
All activities are being offered in full compliance with current provincial and federal COVID standards. We will practice being socially distanced (6’ / 2m apart) while participating on this event (eg. step off the path briefly to let others pass).
