Itinerary:


Meet at the south parking lot of Rundle Park shown on the map, past the ACT rec centre and across from the pond. If you get to the roundabout (disc golf lot) you have gone a bit too far. We meet at 6:50 p.m. and leave at 7:00 p.m. sharp! We will be hiking from Rundle park we will cross the Rundle foot bridge and hike along the south side of the river and ventually cross over to the North and work our way back. This event will be at an average intermediate pace compared to our regular hikes (approximately 4.5 - 5 km/hr). There are a few hills and some single track but mostly groomed and open paths. A very good portion of this hike is OFF LEASH dog park.
The distance will be about 11-13 kms.

***We are open to having dogs on the hike, however they must be leashed when required***

Required Items to Bring:
  • Your own food, water
  • Headlamp, or flashlight
    - Sturdy footwear with good traction
    - Clothes for the weather
    - Appropriate hiking footwear tread with good grip

    Event Directions:Please meet at the south parking lot of Rundle Park Past the ACT rec center and across from the pond. Look for the White GMC pickup with Master Furniture Repair on the doors.
