Itinerary:

**Please note:
- This will be a moderately paced walk of ~4.5km/hr.
- This event will be weather dependent, please check the EOC calendar and your email for any updates.

About this walk: ~10-11km on the Backcountry Trails, ~2.5-3 hours including a 15- 20 minute lunch/snack break
- OPTIONAL: After the ~10-11km hike, we can possibly hike another ~4.3km on the Holdsworth Trail.

Miquelon Lake Provincial Park is located southeast of Edmonton and has a substantial trail network - click HERE for the link. Miquelon's backcountry trails include a wide variety of terrain, including beaver ponds, marshes, aspen forest, spruce bog and muskeg.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Miquelon Lake Provincial Park is about 50km southeast of downtown Edmonton.

DIRECTIONS:
- From Hwy 21 when you pass New Sarepta, there will be a sign directing you to turn left (east) onto Hwy 623 to access the park.
- Follow Hwy 623 and look out for another sign sign telling you to turn left to access Miquelon Lake PP.
- To get to the VISITOR CENTRE, go through the park gates and stay right then you'll see the centre down the road on your left - we'll meet in the parking lot. - Click HERE for a map - the visitor centre is marked with the question mark (?).
