This event has been changed from the Shamrock Club and Mill Creek Ravine to the new venue below. We did not know that this one Wednesday of the season that the Shamrock Club is closed. We often have the Shamrock event a couple of times every Winter to switch things up as a good Outdoor Club Social. Stay tuned for more.

From the top of the Whitemud Creek Ravine we will hike on the lower forested gravel trails. Because the trails can be snow packed and icy, good traction boots are required.

Part way through the hike (about half way, 35 minutes into the hike) we will go for snacks and refreshments at Vinny's Lounge next to Sicilian Pasta Kitchen on 23rd Ave located directly off our planned route in Whitemud Creek (stop for about 45 Min).
We will then hike back to our cars at the start of the hike via a shorter loop back along the double wide trails on top of the ravine.
**Please be aware with wintery weather, the trail could be slippery in some sections. Ice cleats that go over your boots are recommended. These can be found at Mountain Equipment Coop, or other sporting stores.

**If you choose to drink at the lounge, please drink responsibly**

- Hiking boots with good ice and snow traction

- Wear appropriate clothing and footwear
- Headlamp or flashlight
- Money for your snacks & refreshments at pub/lounge
