Itinerary:

Meet in the parking lot at Fort Edmonton Park at 6:50 PM for a 7:00 PM departure. Meet at the eastern part of the parking lot, furthest away from the John Janzen Nature Centre, closer to the Quesnell bridge.

We will head West on the single track trails past Fort Edmonton, then cross the Fort Edmonton suspension footbridge to the north side of the river. We will then take the Wolf Willow stairs and hike the trails in the Patricia Ravine and emerge in Rio Terrace. After our exploring and stargazing past Rio Terrace, we will cross the river again via the Quesnell Bridge and return to the meeting place at Fort Edmonton.

Dogs are welcome on this hike. If you are bringing your dog(s) please note this when you sign up for the event.

At the meeting place Deb will have a bright royal blue Edmonton Outdoor Club baseball cap hanging on the antenna of her Jeep.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

To get to Fort Edmonton Park take Whitemud Drive to Fox Drive.
Turn into Fort Edmonton Park Rd NW, and follow the road into the parking lot.
We will meet on the east side close to the River Loop trail head, near the Quesnell bridge.
