Itinerary:
Just for clarification this event will be moderate meaning the above average 4.5 to 5 km/hr brisk hiking pace, and some elevation gain on hills at this pace. We are also traveling through single track dirt forest trails, and ravines.
If this isn't a trip at your pace or current condition, I would recommend cancelling this hike, and signing up for our easier hiking events in the future.

The starting point is the parking lot South of Ellerslie Gift and Garden, across the street on the other side of the Fountain Tire office building, 1006 103A St SW.

Meet at 6:50 PM.

We will leave the parking lot and descend into the ravine past an old campground and trestle bridge. We will then follow the established trail system beside the Blackmud Creek, winding our way through the communities of Blackmud Creek and Rutherford.

There are some hills to negotiate, but the overall the terrain will be moderate!
