Itinerary:

Situated on 550 acres of parkland next to the beautiful shores of Bennett Lake, the Strathcona Wilderness Centre offers 12km of trails through woodland, meadow and lakeshore terrain. See the SWC's website for further info and their map.

We will be hiking at a MODERATE pace for about 2.5-3 hours (~10- 12km) with a snack break at around the 7km mark at the centre then for those who want to continue for an extra 3-5km, we can.

**CARPOOL LOCATION**
Please Note: We will meet at the Mill Creek Ravine UPPER parking lot accessed via 95A Street, north of Whyte Avenue at 9:45am. It is accessed via the west side of the Mill Creek Bridge.
If you’re using Google Maps, look up Mill Creek Outdoor Pool. We will be parked in the first parking lot on your left as you come down the hill. If you arrive at the pool, you’ve gone too far so just come part way back up the hill. (If you decide to meet at the event rather than the carpool location, you MUST let me know ahead of time.)

For those meeting at the event, we will start around 10:30am.

To recognize me at the meeting place, I will be driving a silver Toyota Rav4 and wearing a royal blue EOC baseball cap - check out my profile on the volunteers page so you can recognize me.
