Season opener BBQ and party (Optional attendance for the Edmonton Outdoor Dragons team roster). Come down and join us for an afternoon of food and fun!! Have you always wanted to try paddling? Here is your chance to get in a dragon boat!

The Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival Association (EDBFA) is a non-profit organization which promotes Dragon Boat racing and its multicultural celebration in the City of Edmonton.
Association Objectives:
- Promote the sport of Dragon Boat racing for fun and recreation in Edmonton
- Introduce Asian culture, friendship and promote multiculturalism Membership
The EDBFA welcomes any interested community members with passion for community involvement and dragon boat racing.

Required Items to Bring:
-Desire to learn
-Sense of fun
-Team spirit
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
-Fleece jacket/sweater
-Sandals, or water-shoes. Feet will definitely get wet during practices and racing.
-Extra shoes (dry) for the ride home
-Wind and/or rain jacket and pants
-Sunscreen
-Insect repellent
-Towel

How to Get There:
Event Directions:EDBFA trailer. From 98 Ave, just east of the Low Level Bridge, turn north into the Edmonton Queen River Boat office area. Please click HERE for map and directions on where to park. We will be at the EDBFA trailer. See Mark's picture on the volunteer page.
