Two Hours of Hiking in Nature Right in Town (4/9/2017)

Itinerary:
So we meet at the Mc Taggart Sanctuary parking lot on the south side/east bound side of 23rd avenue at 8:50. We start the hike at 9:00 sharp going south. The plan is to go south for 1 &1/4 hrs & back north to the cars for 45 minutes via a slightly different trail (when we can find one).

Required Items to Bring:
Dress for the weather, bring at least 1 liter of water. You will also NEED hiking boots (nothing else will do) & either one or two hiking poles or/and microspikes actual microspikes no other model. This is a safety issue. It WILL be slippery & there are two short but steep hills that I expect will be slippery.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:find yourself on 23rd avenue going downhill east bound & the parking lot is just east of the Smiths Crossing bridge on the right hand side of 23rd av.

Notes:
note THE TRAIL WILL BE SLIPPERY, MUDDY, WATERY. there are hills some of them steep but short. YOU REALLY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HIKE WITH US UNLESS YOU FULLFILL THE list of "required items to bring" IT'S JUST NOT SAFE OTHERWISE. Note, you bring a dog? please pick up the poop.Dogs very welcome.
