Itinerary:
We'll start at Riverview Middle School in Devon.
This is going to be an unsupported ride so you'll have to be sure to have everything you'll need or money to pick up food/water along the way.
The route will be 80km total with reasonably flat roads aside from a good climb at the 70km mark.
The plan is to keep an average pace of 20km/hr over the entire route in order to finish it in about 4 hours. Stopping for a snack or to pick up more water is okay if needed.
This will not be an easy ride unless you're an advanced rider. For the rest of us it will be a bit of a challenge because of the distance and tempo.
Road bikes are definitely most suited for this ride.
