This event was by special request from some of our Calgary members. This taste of the river valley will showcase some of our great trails. If you can come on out on a Friday afternoon please come and meet some ultra active members of the COC.

There are two hikes we can enjoy from Whitemud Park North rendez vous location. We will meet at the parking lot of Whitemud Park North just off Fox Drive. You will see a large set of stairs from the parking lot.

The hike will be two to three hours long. View the trail map at this link. My plan is to go through both Whitemud North and South.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Meet at Whitemud Park - 7215 Whitemud Road just off Fox drive - meet in parking lot. If you see a large set of stairs then you found it.
Directions from the Whitemud Freeway.
- Exit Whitemud on to Fox Drive and head East.
- Turn Left at the entrance to Whitemud Park North (skip the major turnoff into Fort Edmonton Park and take the smaller less formal left after it)
- Follow the road until you get to the parking lot at the base of a large set of stairs.

Edmonton Transit Bus stop #2504 is located at the entrance to the park. Bus route numbers that stop at this location are #4, #106, #30 and #32.
