Itinerary:
Welcome to my 4th of 6 backpack conditioning hikes. After three weeks we should have some great endurance. Now it is time to include hills. By now you should begin to wear an overnight backpack and increase your weight.

This week we will meet at Strathcona Wilderness Centre and do a circuit of 12-14 Km.

Please make a note if you'd like to carpool. If there is enough interest I will try to make arrangements with those people.

Required Items to Bring:
dress for the weather
water
snacks
proper hiking boots
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
walking poles
camera

How to Get There:
Event Directions:There are many ways to get to the Stathcona Wilderness Centre. From the City take the Whitemud to Highway 21. Travel N. along highway 21 to Township Rd. 530 (baseline rd) and turn right (east) to RR 212 and travel south to the Wilderness Centre.

Once again, you may want to check google maps from your start location to find a more direct route.
