Itinerary:
Meet in the parking lot at the Terwillegar off leash dog park. At the far end of the Temporary parking lot. (west end of Rabbit Hill Rd) at 10:15 am and ready to leave by 10:30 am This is a moderate with some short steeper climbs. The Park offers hills, open spaces to experiment with trail breaking and excellent views of the river. There has recently been new trails added to the area. We can break for a short snack break if the group is interested.

snow shoes, poles will be useful, and weather appropriate clothing,

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From the Whitemud fwy. Take the 53 Ave exit and go left on Riverbend road. Follow Riverbend road to Rabbit hill Road and go right on Rabbit Hill road. From the Anthony Henday take the Terwillegar Exit North and follow the Terwilliger past 23rd Ave to Rabbit Hill Road. Turn left onto Rabbit Hill Road and follow to the end.

Look for Lynn in the parking lot. I will be wearing a Yellow EOC hat and driving a blue sportage.

Notes:
This event is best suited for individuals with some experience snowshoeing due to the few steeper areas that beginners may find challenging.
