Snowshoe fun everyone. Beginners ARE ENCOURAGED to come out and try this easy and relaxing sport. If you can walk, you can snowshoe. . It's a great opportunity to just check out the sport before you tackle something harder, or out-of-town.

IMPORTANT NOTE: IF THE SNOW ALL MELTS AND CONDITIONS ARE NOT GOOD AND VERY SLUSHY/MUSHY, THIS EVENT WILL BE CANELLED.
I WILL SEND OUT A NOTIFICATION ON FRIDAY EVENING BY 6:00 pm AFTER I ASSESS THE CONDITIONS AT TERWILLIGER

There are trails winding through the entire park on the Southside of the North Saskatchewan River. Some trails in the park are wide and well used. Others are more narrow and uneven. Parts of the Snowshoe may require some elevation changes. It will allow us to scene some scenic views of the river valley.

To find me, I'll be driving a Blue Kia Sportage and wearing my yellow EOC baseball cap. I will be parked at the front of the parking lot near the bright red portapotty, so is should be easy to spot me.

Required Items to Bring:
Water Weather-appropriate clothing (toques, gloves, etc., and dress in synthetic layers) Snowshoes and boots are required Hiking poles are recommended, but not required and as this is an easy trail folks should be fine.
Participants must provide their own equipment
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Snack
Camera
Sunglasses

How to Get There:
Event Directions:The park is located at the very west end of Rabbit Hill road, off Terwillegar Drive.

For those who are coming from Whitemud Drive, take the Terwillegar exit, and turn right at Rabbit Hill Road. The road will go down the hill into the Terwillegar Park parking lot, which is where we will meet.
