Itinerary:

Meet at 6:00pm for a 6:10pm departure - I will be wearing a yellow EOC cap and standing by a grey Hyundai Elantra so you can recognise me.

**NOTE THE DIFFERENT MEETING PLACE FROM SIMILAR HIKES IN THE PAST - IT IS THE SMALL PARKING LOT FOR - HENRIETTA LOUISE EDWARDS PARK ACCESSED OFF 96a STREET, ON THE NORTH SIDE OF 98 AVENUE**

We will head up the trail through Cloverdale into Forest Heights Park. Continue NE along the trail (great views over Edmonton!) to Rowland Road.
From this point, we stay on the south side of the river, and follow the trail located south of Riverside Golf Course as far as Wayne Greztky Bridge.
We will turn around and return the same way to the start point - more hills and nice views! :-)
Note that there is a steady climb up from Cloverdale to Forest Heights Park, and more substantial climbs in the vicinity of Riverside Golf Course.

This is a "dog friendly" hike - ie. dogs are permitted on this one.
Dog owners - if you are bringing your dog(s), when you are registering, please include them, so that they also appear on the publicly- viewable list of attendees.
Also, please note any City of Edmonton restrictions re "on-leash" versus "off-leash" areas.
