PRE-REGISTRATION & PAYMENT REQUIRED: Once you've reviewed the event details, and decided you'd like to join us, you MUST sign up at the bottom of this page. You will then make your payment for this event at the venue, NOT in advance to the EOC.

Itinerary:
We will meet at the Strathcona Wilderness Center at 9:15 am for a snowshoe hike. Strathcona Wilderness Center rents snowshoes on a first-come, first served basis, but they have them there on site. The cost is $6.00 per half day and they do not take reservations. There is also a cost of $3.25 to use their trails. We can snowshoe for as short or as long a period of time as you wish. The trails are all loops.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:The Centre is located at Township Road 530 and Range Road 212, just 20 minutes east of Sherwood Park. I drive east out Baseline Road, which becomes Township Road 530, and turn at RR 212. Try their website at
