Night Skate under the Christmas Lights at the Legislative Building (1/10/2008)

Itinerary:
Skate under the beautiful LED lights at the Leg! If you don't skate, you can also wander around the grounds and check out the ice sculptures and some Bright Nights displays from Hawrelak Park.

Afterwards for anyone interested, we will meet up at Pho Hoa (9723-106 Ave) for Vietnamese noodle soup, bubble tea (cold drink) or strong Vietnamese coffee.

There are no skate rentals on-site and participants are responsible for their own skates and other safety equipment.

Required Items to Bring:
Skates (or rent from totem outfitters at 7430-99 Street, 780-432-1223)
Clothing appropriate for the weather
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Thermos of hot chocolate or tea
Camera
Money for drinks afterward

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Event Directions: We will meet at the rink, on the side nearest to the Legislature building. Tara will wear a blue ski jacket with white stripes on the arms. There is parking beside the rink/leg grounds and some in the streets nearby. The area is also accessible by public transport with the Grandin Station being the closest LRT station.
