Itinerary:
Join with the EOC and your fellow Edmontonians to help keep this city's river valley pristine.

On Sunday May 3rd, we will take part in the annual public River Valley Cleanup that is organized by the City of Edmonton. The public cleanup will be held at Walterdale Park (adjacent to the Kinsmen Sports Centre), and the surrounding trail system.

Capital City Cleanup will provide garbage picker tools (they look something like these) and garbage bags. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toed footwear. I have a number of extra pairs of unused work gloves (which were handed out at last year's cleanup) that I can hand out, but feel free to bring your own work/gardening gloves.

We will meet in front of the entrance to the Kinsmen Sports Centre at 9:45 AM. By 9:55 AM (or sooner, if everyone arrives on time) we will register with the Capital City Cleanup, who will provide us with cleanup supplies. I will be wearing a yellow ballcap with the EOC logo on it, so that those who don't know me will be able to spot me.

The cleanup will last up to two hours. After the cleanup is completed, those interested can join me at a nearby cafe for lunch (location to be decided on the day of the cleanup).

Required Items to Bring:
Weather-appropriate clothing
Closed-toed footwear
