Itinerary:

Come join me for the City of Edmonton's Honey Harvest at John Janzen Nature Centre.

Here is some info about the course:
Honey Harvest is an opportunity to learn all about native bees. Bees are nature's great pollinators. The food that we eat would not exist without bees. The bees are disappearing; "Einstein predicted the world would end two years after the last bee died. The plight of the bees is important one for all of us. "Honey Harvest" will provide an opportunity to learn what is happening to the bees, and actively participate in bee conservation efforts. The evening will include an educational short film screening, a hive demonstration, the opportunity to create your own take away native bee homes and a presentation from bee enthusiast and expert presenter Tracey Smith. We will have an on site marketplace with artisan products, honey sales, and samplings. Mead and beer tasting from local beer masters will also be available on site (for extra charge). The evening will be interactive and engaging for all!

Sign up on the wait list, book and pay for your spot via the City of Edmonton's website (course code 525800), e-mail me a confirmation that you have done this, and then I will move you onto the attendee list.
