Itinerary:
My philosophy for conditioning is a combination of endurance, weight in backpacks and hills. We will begin with endurance training and weight in our backpacks.

If you have not been too busy over the winter I would suggest a day pack with light weight and then if you have been busy push yourself and increase your weight.

This is the forth in a series of conditioning hikes I will be leading to get us ready for the backpacking season. Our first three hikes have been relatively flat, this hike will add some steeper hills and increase our endurance.

We will meet at the Pavilion in Gold Bar Park and head towards Hermitage Park.

This will be a good hike to do if you are thinking about joining us in July for a backpacking trip to Kaninaskis Country.
