Itinerary:
The Nerd Nite series has been around in Edmonton for the past couple of years. I haven't previously attended any of the previous evenings, but I heard about this series from friends who told me that it's a lot of fun.

The itinerary for the evening is probably best described by the following, which comes from the Nerd Nite website: "The formula is simple. Approximately 20 minute presentations covering all things nerdy. At a bar. With drinks. In fact our motto is “it’s like discovery channel with beer.” The January 9th Nerd Nite (Nerd Nite #10) will have presentations on three topics. Dr. Kirsten C. Uszkalo, a.k.a. "Dr. K"., will talk to us about demonic possession. Nina Craig will talk to us about soils. And, Myron Nebozuk will talk to us about architectural design. More details about all three speakers and presentations can be found on the Nerd Nite website.

Tickets for Nerd Nite are $15.00 and can be purchased in advance through the Citadel Theatre Website. If tickets haven't sold out already, you may also be able to purchase a ticket at the door for $18.00. You are responsible for making your own arrangements to purchase a ticket if you wish to meet with the EOC group who will be attending this event.
We will meet inside the lobby of the Citadel Theatre at 7:30 PM. I will be wearing a yellow ballcap with the EOC logo so that you can better spot me. By 7:45 at the latest we will head into the Club so that we can find seats together and purchase beverages.
