Itinerary:

I'm planning on doing weekly Sunday urban hikes. There might be weeks where I may end up switching it to a Saturday though - it'll be before registration opens though or if inclement weather conditions.

My plan is to hike the entire river valley from NE Edmonton all the way to the SW over about a 12 week period. There will also be some weeks where we won't be along the river valley but along creeks within the city.

We’ll start out at the Valley Zoo parking lot then head through Buena Vista Park. From there, we’ll cross the footbridge and head west to the Quesnell footbridge.

Meet at NE corner of Valley Zoo parking lot (accessed off Buena Vista Road) at 10:30am, for a 10:40am start.

Although this hike is generally classed as a "moderate" one, there are some steeper sections along the way.
