Itinerary:
What is a Half-And-Half? A half-and-half is a hike in which we park in the middle of the route and do an out-and- back one way, then an out-and-back the other way. Attendees can do just the first half if they wish, or they can stay for the whole thing (both halves).

Meet at 2:00 to depart promptly at 2:15.

First Half: Departing the trailhead on Wolf Willow Cres, we will walk toward the river, taking a left turn at the T intersection to walk through Patricia Ravine. If we reach the next T intersection with the paved trail, we'll turn left and continue to the end, or to our turn-around time (25 minutes). Normally we would walk for 30 minutes each direction, but there's a lot of elevation gain on the way back, so the return will be a little slower.

Second Half: When we reach the intersection to return to our starting point, we will regroup. Departing, we will continue straight (instead of turning right toward the cars) to Wolf Willow Ravine. We will walk the trail to its end, then backtrack and cross the foodbridge toward Fort Edmonton Park. We'll continue on the trail through Fort Edmonton Park until our turn-around time (25 minutes, again because of the elevation gain on the return).

This will be a slower-paced walk - beginners, slowpokes, backpack conditioners, and photographers welcome!

Dogs must be kept on leash at all times

This event will go ahead only if the temperature is above -20

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From 170 St, south of the Whitemud, take Wolf Willow Dr. heading east. Wolf Willow Dr. becomes Wolf Willow Cres. Continue until you find the trailhead just past Wolf Willow Pt. (there's a pedestrian crossing sign there). Park near there and meet at the trailhead. To find Rhonda, first find Nemo. I will be milling about nearby with my yellow EOC ball cap.
