Itinerary:
So we meet in Terwillegar Park look for my yellow EOC baseball cap & my 3 dogs. We are going to make a point to hike off trail about 1/2 the time. There are several fitness advantages to bush wacking. It's good for balance, for smaller leg & foot muscles that we normally do not use so much. It's considerable more cardio that hiking on the trails. It's way more fun also.

Required Items to Bring:
Hiking boots would be great. Sneakers would be a bad idea but will be tolerated. If you are wearing anything less than a good sneaker you will be not joining us. The deep bush is way harder on the soles of your shoes/feet than a trail is.A water bottle of water.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
A baseball cap will keep the branches out of your hair. Glasses will keep the branches out of your eyes. Gloves help when bush wacking but are not necessary.Cycling gloves are great.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:get on the Whitemud & exit onto Terwillegar Drive & go south till you find Rabbit Hill Road. From there turn right (safeway, Mc donalds, second cup) & follow Rabbit Hill Road till you find the park.
