Conquer your fears!

With a 106 feet tower and 8 feet of water at the bottom, the Center of Gravity at West Edmonton Mall offers the tallest indoor bungee in the world. Located inside the World Waterpark, experienced jumpmasters dangle patrons above the deep end of the wave pool. Where else can you bungee jump with an audience cheering you on in the water?

Sure, 106 feet is small compared to outdoor bungee sites, but I assure you, it's still plenty scary! And we're getting an awesome group rate as it is usually $70+tax! Their most experienced Jumpmaster will be assigned to us. He has more than 6 years of experience and has previously won the X-Games Bungee Competition. One of their other staff has also broken the world record for number of jumps in 24 hours last November and was featured on Discovery Channel!

There are several other items you can purchase on that day (optional). A waterpark pass is an extra $15, climbing wall is $20, personalized DVD of your jump is $15. I will try to arrange to have our own videos taken. I have a camcorder, but I need volunteers!

You'll have a choice of being strapped in by your ankles or a torso harness. Please wear comfortable clothing. Nothing that falls off easily like flip-flops. They need to strap your ankles so no big cowboy boots! All safety equipment and training will be done on-site by the jumpmasters and no previous experience is necessary. Of course, you will have to sign a CoG waiver in addition to the regular EOC waiver. If you have further questions about bungee jumping or the waiver, please call Center of Gravity at 780-489-4339.

While bungee jumping is safe at the hands of the professionals at Center of Gravity, it still represents stress, both physical and mental. You must be between 80 and 300 lbs to jump. You should also remove glasses before jumping. Please use common sense. If you have a heart condition, back problems, pregnant or are deathly afraid of heights, please do not sign up. You will NOT get a refund if you chicken out at the last minute.

Center of Gravity Bungee is located at the World Waterpark in phase III of the mall. Please meet on the main floor at their booth, just next to the B*Sweet candy shop and flamingo pen. Entrances 50 and 52 are closest to the Waterpark. These are located on 87th avenue, between 170th and 178th street.

Notes:

- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the EOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where EOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refunds of money if you cancel.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in EOC events.
