Easy-Intermediate Mountain Bike - Goldbar/Hermitage (7/30/2011)

Itinerary:
Meet at the Goldbar parking lot. We will ride into Hermitage Park and do the Angel Monkey Trail as well as the side trails in the bush going towards 42nd st. Ride time, 2 1/2 hours.

Most of this trip is suitable for beginners. There are a couple of sections of single-track, which is more challenging mountain biking. Beginners and people with hybrid bikes, be prepared to do a bit of pushing (or have an ultimate adventure).

We will go for lunch afterwards - bring some cash if you'd care to join us.

Event will go rain or shine - make sure you notify the coordinators if you're not going to come.

Required Items to Bring:
Bicyle - hybrid or mountain bike (no skinny road tires)
Helmet and other safety gear. No helmet - no ride
Tool kit, spare tubes, and the knowledge of how to use them
Water (at least 1 litre)

How to Get There:
Event Directions:To get to Goldbar park, drive north on 50th street past 109A Avenue. Turn right toward Goldbar Park. Go past the sewage treatment plant and the parking lot is on the left.

To find the coordinators, first find Nemo. One of us will also be wearing (or holding) the yellow EOC ballcap.
