Itinerary:
Whitemud Ravine has nice, wide trails that can be walked in boots. However, we will get a little off the beaten path, which will make for a good beginner snowshoe outing. The pace will be easy for people new to snowshoeing.

We will also try to find the "What a Bush Creature Wants" geocache, which has an oudoors theme. It was a little low on supplies when some of us found it last, so please bring along an inexpensive item related to the outdoors to donate to the cache (water bottle, boot laces, kids' gloves, camping supplies, you get the idea). To find out what a geocache is, check out www.geocaching.com

Shirley drives a blue SUV, has a white husky cross dog and will be wearing a blue puffy down jacket.

If you don't have snowshoes, you can rent them downtown at Mountain Equipment Co-op for $12/day. You can reach MEC at 488-6614.

Afterward, we will go somewhere for a hot chocolate to warm up.
