Itinerary:
Total Distance: ~64km including a stop in Pigeon Lake Provincial Park.

NOTE that there will be some gravel road sections on the trip, and some packed dirt road (good condition).

Park somewhere along the street or in a public parking lot in Mulhurst Bay and meet in the parking lot of Cedar Crest Inn (pub side may still be called Joe's) which faces the lake on the main road through town (Lake Dr).

In the past, we have done this trip counter- clockwise. This time, we'll be going clockwise for the following reasons:
- Safety - less traffic crossings
- Scenery - save some of the best for last

From Cedar Crest Inn / Joe's, head south and follow the road as it curves east and becomes Twp Road 472. Twp Road 472 joins Highway 616 - continue east along 616.

Turn south on Highway 780, then east briefly onto Twp Road 470, then south again to continue on Highway 780. When we reach Hwy 13A to Ma-Me-O Beach, we'll head west to Ma-Me-O, and when we get to the town, we'll leave the highway and ride down 1st Ave through town for a nicer lakeshore experience than just blowing through town on the highway. We may want to stop for a quick rest/snack at Ma- Me-O... just cuz it's nice.

Continue along Hwy 13A and then turn west onto Hwy 13. After a brief time on Hwy 13, turn north onto RR11 (gravel) and pass Norris Beach. Follow Lakeview Dr and turn right (north) when it connects to RR12 and then becomes Lakeview Dr again.

Follow Lakeview Dr. through Grandview and Poplar Bay. The road then curves west and becomes Twp Rd 470. Turn north from Twp Rd 470 into Pigeon Lake Provincial Park where we'll convene for a rest and a snack.

Leaving the Provincial Park, continue west, and hook onto Hwy 771 (westbound). Shortly, Hwy 771 veers north - turn north and continue on Hwy 771. Follow Hwy 771 north all the way to Twp Rd 474 where you'll turn east (right).

Twp Rd 474 follows the shoreline, changing names a few times as it goes (Twp Rd 474A, Lakeshore Drive, Twp Rd 474). It also has a couple of sections where the road is a dead-end with only a pedestrian/bike gate to continue along your way. Follow this all the way to Itaska Beach.

At Itaska Beach, we'll exit the shoreline road along with Twp Rd 474 and head east away from the lake. Twp Rd 474 joins on to Hwy 616 eastbound.

Continue east on Hwy 616 past the Tempo and turn south onto RR10. Follow RR10 all the way south back to Mulhurst Bay where it rejoins the lake, and curves to become Lake Dr. Return to Cedar Crest Inn/Joe's.

Note that "Slow Pace" does not mean "Not Challenging". Please ensure you can do the posted distance at the intended speed before signing up.
