Write Up:
We had a fantastic time wandering around the Ice on Whyte Festival. Definitely, the festival was an excellent place to visit on a relatively warm January evening.

We saw beautiful ice carvings on the festival grounds - many still being carved, but most carved enough that we could make out what they were to become. There were also ice bridges, an ice castle, and an ice slide. The line-up to get on the slide was long, but the fantastic ride down was worth the wait!

Afterwards, a few of us wandered briefly into the crowded Van Houtte Cafe tent, to listen to the karaoke singers for a few minutes. Many of us then ended our evening at Hudson's on Whyte Ave.
