Twas a great day at the Ball Park...No Rains. No Ticks, No mosquitoes and no one left at base. And Henry swears that he saw a Moose. We hiked in the 12 kms via a couple of scenic pathways and set up camp. There was a full box of wood and enough water so each of us could have a nice long shower, which we eschewed. No shower ! After dinner we went Moose searching and managed to see a White Tailed Moose, a Dam Building Moose that slapped its tail at us (How Rude! )along with a whole herd of Wapita Moose, no antlers except the broken one that Larry picked up. And even darn few Moosequitoes. After a leisurely breakfast we packed up and vowed to do a slow stroll back to the parking lot. Well, we stopped for a leisurely lunch complete with Ichiban lemon grass soup and we still managed to shave 8 minutes off our outbound time. It was a great weekend and great weather and best of all NO MOSQUITO BITES !! Thanks all for coming!
