It was a beautiful day for a walk in Edmonton's River Valley. It was an even better day because we were walking for a great cause - the eradication of global poverty in some of the poorest parts of the world. Thank you for joining me and my family to raise awareness about and money for global development efforts. Our team raised more than $1,300 and donations are still coming in. All of the money we raised will go directly to development projects in Asia and Africa and the Government of Canada, through CIDA, matches those funds and partners on many of the projects.
