Write Up:
Great evening! Small, intimate group, great ice, good weather and interesting (albeit not what we expected!) movie!

It was my first time using the ice at City Hall and I must say I was impressed! Although it snowed during the day, the ice was snow free and completely smooth. They must flood it, but exactly how remains a mystery. One of our members tried skating for the very first time, and after a few shaky steps, he was gliding around like a pro. Good job!

We were extremely pleased to arrive at the Metro and realize that the film was free! The documentary showed some absolutely breath-taking scenery of Antarctica, and made us all reconsider what life would be like living in a tent for four months without showering (snotsicles and skin-wax balls, anyone?)

Thanks again for coming out!
